Recruitment & culture

Employer branding games.

Give candidates a feel for the work behind your company. We explore how custom browser games can introduce a role, a workplace or an employer's story.

Discuss your game

An employer branding game introduces people to a company's work or culture through play. It can give a recruitment campaign an interactive entry point. playbrief's serving game concept explores this approach; it is an independent concept, not evidence of a commissioned recruitment campaign or hiring results.

Show a recognisable part of the work

Choose a moment candidates can understand: serving customers, organising a task or making a simple decision. A short game cannot represent every part of a job, so the brief should be clear about which part it introduces.

Our fritz-kola serving game concept explores the work behind a brand through gameplay. Visitors can watch the recording and try the concept. It was not commissioned by fritz-kola, and there is no partnership with the brand.

Align the game with the recruitment journey

Define where the game sits: a careers page, an event, a recruitment campaign or a link shared by your team. Give interested players a clear route to learn about the actual role or contact the employer.

Have the people who know the role review the scenario. Brand, HR and hiring teams may each need to approve different parts, and that review time should be included in the plan.

Keep participation separate from assessment

A game designed to introduce a company is not automatically a validated hiring assessment. If you want to evaluate candidates, that is a separate requirement with its own design and review needs.

For an employer branding brief, start with understandable objectives such as role-page visits or interested enquiries. Agree any data collection before production and avoid implying that a gameplay score measures a person's suitability for work.

Common questions.

Have you run an employer branding campaign for fritz-kola?

No. The fritz-kola game is an independent pitch concept. It demonstrates an approach to gameplay and is not a commissioned campaign, partnership or case study of hiring outcomes.

Can the game replace a recruitment assessment?

Our employer branding concept is intended to introduce work through play. A validated assessment is a separate brief and should not be inferred from a marketing game.
