Discovery & education

Interactive product experiences.

Let people explore what you make. A browser experience can turn a product story into actions, discoveries and moments people control themselves.

Discuss your game

An interactive product experience lets visitors explore a product or its story through actions rather than only reading or watching. It can include a reveal, a guided space or a game within a wider experience. playbrief builds these browser experiences around a brand's discovery and launch objectives.

Make the product the point of interaction

Start with what a visitor should understand about the product. A feature can become a task; a collection can become a place to explore; a launch can unfold through discovery. Interaction should help communicate the product rather than obscure it.

The Škoda Museum was built ahead of three car launches. Visitors could explore the cars and play a treasure hunt within the wider experience. A vehicle reveal moved from an outline to the finished car.

Choose discovery over unnecessary complexity

Not every product needs a competitive game. A guided interaction may be a better fit when the purpose is to explain a feature or introduce a range. A game mechanic can help when it gives visitors a reason to look more closely.

Agree the essential product messages, available assets and approval process early. Product accuracy and brand review can affect the schedule just as much as development.

Give visitors a clear next step

An experience should connect to the wider launch. Decide whether the next action is learning about a feature, visiting a product page or expressing interest. Put that action where it makes sense in the experience.

Define how you will distinguish exploration from commercial interest. The Museum project reports organic sessions and treasure hunt players; those are participation measures, not a claim that every visit became a purchase.

Common questions.

Does a product experience have to be a game?

No. It can be a guided or exploratory browser experience. A game mechanic is useful when it helps visitors engage with the product story.

What should we supply for a product launch project?

Share the product story, target audience, approved product assets, key messages, launch date and intended next action. Identify who can review product accuracy and brand use.
